The Hotel Sonnentau endeavors to make its website https://www.sonnentau.com/ accessible in accordance with § 12a BGG and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compatible with the requirements of BITV 2.0. Hotel Sonnentau is continuously working to identify and remove existing barriers.
The DigiAccess assistance software is used to support barrier-free use. This helps users with disabilities to better perceive and use the content of the website.
A full BITV test has not yet been carried out.
Accessible functions of the website
The DigiAccess software offers the following functions, among others:
- Adjustment of font sizes and contrasts
- Read aloud function for texts
- Keyboard navigation
- Focus highlighting
- Color and display adjustments for people with visual impairments
In addition, the website has a responsive design and is prepared for use with current screen-reading programs.
Barriers that still exist
Despite efforts to ensure accessibility, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Individual PDF documents may not meet the requirements of BITV 2.0
- Embedded videos do not currently have subtitles or audio descriptions in all cases
- Forms may vary depending on the accessibility features
The removal of these barriers is planned.
